Arena of Valor is multiplayer online battle arena game designed for mobile device. Players will be formed into two even teams - Red and Blue, with the goal being to destroy the base of the opposing side first to secure victory. Before the battle start, players select a hero to fight against the opponents.
Heros
In Arena of Valor, there are various and distinctive heroes for you to choice. There are Tanks who can rush into the battle first and protect teammates like a shield, or the mysterious Assassin with high agility to take the enemies' heads with a blink. If you enjoy shooting from distance with massive sustained damage or if you prefer slay enemies with burst damage, you can select Marksman or Mage. Support heros like Peura have healing powers and can assist and protect you.
Base
After all heros are selected, both teams will start from inside their respective bases that will continously spawn minions. To get to the opposing base, players need to fight through enemy spawn, heros, and take down all the Defense Towers in at least one of the three paths.
Game modes
Play across a variety of game modes from the most popular 5V5 mode to Abyssal Clash mode where both will fight to destroy the opposing base with only one creep lane connecting both bases. Other modes include solo battle, 3v3, and ranked matches. In ranked matches, the matchmaking system will match you with users of similar skill and ranking. Teams of two will only be matched against teams of two and teams of five only against teams of five.
During the ranked match season which will continue for several months, players will be promoted or demoted in their ranking. A tally will be taken after the end of the season to tabulate each user's final ranking. The Rankings are, starting from the bottom to top: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Conquerors. The Rankings from the previous season will directly impact the initial Rankings for the next season, but with a few adjustments. Those players ranked higher will have a higher starting rank. Rankings not only highlight players’ levels in the game, but also provide rewards in the form of gems or even special Skins.
